Looking Back on 2024, Ahead to 2025
As we enter 2025, I’ve been reflecting on the work we’ve accomplished with Connect Puerto Rico. This past year was about laying the foundation for what’s ahead, building key relationships, and refining how we serve our community.
So we’re taking a moment to celebrate our first steps, acknowledge the long road to come, and appreciate relationships old and new.
This all started in 2019* when I met Dr. Marla Pérez Lugo and Dr. Cecilio Ortiz Garcia. Their leadership with the National Institute of Island Energy and Sustainability (Instituto Nacional de Energía y Sostenibilidad Isleña, or INESI) shaped my approach to Puerto Rico’s renewable energy future.
Their influence continues to guide our efforts today.
